Biography of: 

Art Plachinski

The name of my welding endeavor is called Art by Art. I like to create things from recycled materials. I find items that have been discarded and create new items.

I usually find a particular piece that reminds me of some type of creature and I add materials to the core to create the item. Each piece is individual and I also like to try to give it some personality. Usually they are very strange, and I like them to rust, and to live outside... yard art.

I have taken several welding classes from the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design. My shop is located near Boaz in Akan Township at the Red Wing Farm.
